Conheçam nossa bonequinha..

Ela nasceu no dia 18 de abril às 2:06 a.m. em Provo, UT... medindo 52.07cm e pesando 3.612 kg. Nesses 3 meses que estamos convivendo com ela, aprendemos tantas coisas novas... ela tem mudado tanto e cada dia que passa fica mais sapeca e sorridente. Na consulta de 2 meses ela estava medindo 60.96cm e pesando 6.2 kg e ela estava no 92.85% por altura e 95.65% por peso em comparação a bebês da mesma idade. Ela tomou as primeiras vacinas e foi tão ruim ver ela chorando.. quase chorei junto. hahaha

She was born on 18 April 2008 at 2:06 a.m. in Provo, UT... measuring 20.5 inches and weighing 7 lbs 15.4. In these 3 months that we have been living with her, we learned so many new things... she has changed so much and each day that goes by she becomes more playful and happy. At the 2 month check-up she was measuring 24 inches and weighing 13 lbs 5 and she was in the 92.85th percentile for weight and 95.65th percentile for height. She took the first shots and it was so sad to see her crying.. I almost cried with her. hahaha

Começando....

Bom, depois de um bom tempo pensando em criar um blog, hoje finalmente estou dando o primeiro passo. Agora vou contar um pouquinho da minha vida... Eu morei por muitos anos em Manaus, Am - Brasil e lá aprendi tantas coisas, tive experiências únicas e criei amigos eternos. No final de setembro de 2007 eu e Andrew nos conhecemos pela internet; em novembro ele foi me visitar e ficamos noivos.. ele voltou para casa.. esperamos uns meses e em março de 2008 começamos o visto de noiva K1. Ele voltou em julho para Manaus e de lá fomos juntos para minha entrevista no consulado. Meu passaporte chegou no hotel e viajamos no dia seguinte; cheguei aqui nos USA dia 20 de julho de 2008!! Chegamos no aeroporto de Miami e fomos dirigindo até Kentucky, gostei demais.. pois pude ver vários lugares no caminho.

Casamos no Templo de St. Louis, MO no dia 30 de agosto de 2008 e sem dúvida foi um dos dias mais lindos e especiais para mim. Ficamos morando em Kentucky até março de 2009, quando nos mudamos para Utah. No dia 18 de abril nasceu nossa princesa (Daphne Pearl) e ela é uma benção em nossas vidas.

Well, after a long time thinking about creating a blog, today finally I'm taking the first step. Now I am going to tell a little about my life... I lived for many years in Manaus, Am - Brazil and there I learned a lot of things, had unique experiences and made eternal friends. In the end of September 2007 Andrew and I met on the internet; in November he went to visit me and we got engaged.. he went back home.. we waited for a few months and in March 2008 we started the fiance visa K1. He went back to Manaus in July and from there we went together to my interview at the consulate. My passport arrived at the hotel and we traveled the next day; I arrived here in the US on July 20, 2008!! We arrived at the airport in Miami and were driving to Kentucky, I really liked it.. because I could see a lot of places on the way. We got married in the St. Louis Temple on August 30, 2008 and without a doubt it was one of the most beautiful and special days for me. We lived in Kentucky until March 2009, when we moved to Utah. On April 18th our princess was born (Daphne Pearl) and she is a blessing in our lives.
