2 month old

Calvin is now 2 months old and he already changed so much in the past few weeks. He loves to smile and kick his legs, he is starting to use 3 month size clothes. Last Friday we started to put him to sleep in his crib in his bedroom and he is doing great, even though he is not really used to it yet, but at least he is sleeping between 5-7 hours straight at night.
You can tell that he loves his big sister, every time that he is awake and she is doing something close to him, he keeps looking at her and smiling, It is so sweet to see them together. And she is crazy about him too, if he cries she runs to him and starts to talk and sing to him.

Birthmarks

When Daphne was born, I noticed that she had a red birthmark on the back of her left leg that looked just like one I have on my right shoulder. Then when Calvin was born I saw the same birthmark on the front of his left leg. It is so funny that we all have the same birthmark.

2 month old check up

Friday the 13th was his 2 month doctor appointment and his measurements are:
Length: 22.8 in
Weight: 11 lbs 3 oz

1 month old

Calvin is 1 month old, I can't believe how fast time is going. He is such a sweet baby, he loves to look around and when Daphne talks to him he gives her little smiles, it is so cute. He is getting good at sleeping at night, on good nights he sleeps 6 hours straight. He loves to eat, but isn't gaining much weight. He loves to be held, which makes some days kind hard for me to do other things, but I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I can, because soon he will grow and be like his big sister.
Daphne has been wonderful with everything, she loves to help and kisses him all the time. She never had a hard time because of the new baby, and I'm really grateful for that.

 

Calvin's blessing

Sunday 17th was Calvin's blessing at church and it was great, he was so cute in his white outfit. We just invited family and a few friends for the blessing. Right after the sacrament meeting we came home and had some refreshments. Daphne had a great time in the backyard with her cousins Emma and Adrian and her friend Sophia. Calvin slept the whole time and we just talked and had a great time.
