We went to a wedding last weekend and the groom's family is from Hawaii, so they had his nieces dance to Hawaiian music and Daphne loved it. Before my camera died, I was able to record a little of her dancing.

20 weeks doctor appointment

On Tuesday I had my 20 weeks doctor appointment / ultrasound. The baby looks great, he wasn't moving a lot, probably was kind of sleepy, but we still could see him really well. He was measuring just a few days bigger and he was weighing 14 oz.  Every day that goes by I just love my baby boy more.

Na terca-feira eu tive minha consulta / ultrassom. O bebe parece otimo, ele nao estava se mexendo muito, provavelmente estava sonolento, mas ainda conseguimos ve-lo bem. Ele estava medindo um pouco maior que a idade gestacional e estava pesando 397 gramas. Cada dia que passa eu me apaixono mais pelo meu menininho.

Half way there

So, right now I'm half way into my pregnancy, I still can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going by. Our baby boy is growing and getting stronger, I can feel his moves and kicks a lot more now and I really enjoy that. Only 20 more weeks and he is going to be here and bring even more joy to our lives. On Tuesday I'm having the 20 weeks ultrasound to measure all the baby, I can't wait to see him again. 
About the name, I think we already have his name picked out. I will announce as soon we are 100% sure.
I'm so excited to start organizing his nursery and put his clothes in the closet. I already recovered his car seat, made a nursing cover and now I bought some fabric to recover the nursing chair.

Então, agora estou na metade da gravidez, eu ainda não acredito o quão rápido essa gravidez está passando. Nosso menino está crescendo e ficando mais forte, eu consigo sentir seus movimentos e chutes bem mais agora e eu estou adorando. Somente mais 20 semanas e ele vai estar aqui para trazer ainda mais felicidades para as nossas vidas. Na terça-feira eu vou ter a ultrassom de 20 semanas para medir todo o bebê, eu mal posso esperar para vê-lo novamente.
Sobre o nome, eu acho que nós já temos o nome escolhido. Eu vou anunciar assim que tivermos 100% de certeza.
Eu estou super animada para começar a organizar o quarto dele e as roupas. Eu já recobri a cadeirinha dele, fiz uma capa de amamentação e agora eu comprei tecido para recobrir a cadeira de amamentação.

Free fishing day

Yesterday it was the free fishing day of the year, so we  decided to enjoy it. So, we went to a pond close to home and it was a lot of fun. 

Ontem foi o dia de pesca de graça do ano, então nós decidimos aproveitar. Nós fomos para um lago perto de casa e foi super divertido.
