Daphne - partes do corpo

When Daphne was younger she would say a few words in  Portuguese, then when she started going to nursery in church and made friends she just changed to English. Now she just says a few little things in Portuguese, but she understands every thing I say to her. She is at an age that is really fun, because she knows things in both languages and she can translate a few words. Some times a like to ask her how to say a few things in the other language, and she does that pretty easy.
Here is a video from a few days ago, when I was asking her the body parts in Portuguese and she was showing me.

4 months old

So, today my baby is 4 months old and every day getting even cuter. He is a sweet baby, always smiling at us. Every time we lay him in the floor, he tries to roll to his tummy, but he isn't able yet, and he gets so upset, so I help him. And he doesn't like to stay laying down for too long, he always wants to be in a sitting position. So, you can tell that he doesn't like to stay still for too long, but he is too young and his body still doesn't work like he wants it to hehe
Last week he went through a growth spurt and was waking up every few hours, but now he is going back to sleeping good.
He had his doctor appointment last week and he is a pretty good size little boy. He is wearing size 6-9 months clothes. The doctor said that he doesn't need solid food for now.

4 month old check up

Today he had his 4 month doctor appointment.

His measurements are:
Length: 26 ¼ in (95%)
Weight: 16 lbs 6 oz (75%)
Head circumference: 17 in (97%)

Squirmy baby

3 months old

So, Calvin is 3 months old. He is a funny, happy little boy. He loves to play on his play mat and won't stay still for too long, he is always putting his feet on the floor and pushing his body up, so in a few minutes after I put him down, when I look again, he is getting off of the mat. He loves to make his baby sounds and put his hands in his mouth. He sleeps pretty good, usually 7 hours straight at night, then eats and sleeps for another 3-4 hours. Some nights he goes up to almost 10 hours straight, and that is pretty awesome. He has been sleeping in his bedroom since he turned 2 months old and he didn't have too much of problem getting used to his crib, but during the day he won't take his nap in there for nothing. I make him sleep and as soon I put him down, he opens his eyes and starts to cry, then I start all over again... if I hold him he will take his nap for as long as he wants, but I'm trying to get him to like his crib during the day too.. hehe I hope I can win this "fight" soon, because it is really tiring doing that every single day. But I can't complain too much, he is such a sweet baby and soon he will be independent and I'm not going to be able to hold him like this.
His is now measuring 25 inches and weighing 16 pounds. Wearing size 3-6 months clothes.
