Orelhas furadas / Pierced Ears
Ontem (17/08) levamos a Daphne para furar a orelha no Walmart; ela sentou quietinha no meu colo, e só chorou uns 2 minutos depois que furaram a orelha dela e logo ela estava bem. Aqui está o resultado:
Yesterday (08/17) we took Daphne to pierce her ears at Walmart; she sat quietly on my lap, and only cried about 2 minutes after they pierced her ears and then she was fine. Here's the result:

Pray Time / Hora da Oração
Daphne começou a dizer amén no final das orações há algumas semanas atrás, mas últimamente tem ficado mais fofo ainda. Toda vez que dizemos para ela que é hora da oração, ela junta as mãos e fica bem quietinha e no final ela diz amén.Alguns domingos atrás ela foi para o berçário comigo e se comportou muito bem.. durante a aula, ela ficou sentadinha prestando atenção juntamente com as outras crianças. Eu mostrei uma gravura de Jesus e perguntei quem era, ela deu um sorrisão e disse Jesus, meu coração derreteu no mesmo instante.. e para terminar a aula a irmã Brown fez a oração e Daphne falou amen no final. Sermos pais tem sido uma experiência maravilhosa, nós amamos essas oportunidade que o Senhor nos deu.
Daphne started to say amen at the end of prayers a few weeks ago, but lately it has become even more cute. Every time we say that it's time to pray, she puts her hands together, stays really quiet and in the end she says amen. Some Sundays ago she went to the nursery with me and behaved very well.. during the lesson she was sitting there with the other children watching. I showed a picture of Jesus and asked who it was, she gave a big smile and said Jesus, my heart melted instantly... and to finish the lesson, sister Brown did the closing prayer and Daphne said amen. Being parents has been a wonderful experience, we love the opportunity that the Lord has given to us.

My Birthday!! Meu aniversário!!
Eu tive um ótimo dia, recebi telefonemas, mensagens, presentes e o carinho e amor de pessoas queridas. Passei o dia em casa me divertindo com a Daphne. O Andrew chegou do trabalho com um buquê de rosas vermelhas, balão e um lindo cartão.. nem estava esperando pois ele me deu um presente no dia anterior.. hehe. Falando em presentes, ganhei coisas lindas... muito obrigado Allison, Rita, Andrew e Irlaine :). Fomos jantar fora e quando voltamos tivemos alguns amigos conosco para comer bolo.
I had a great day, I received phone calls, messages, presents and the love and care of loved ones. I spent the day at home having fun with Daphne. Andrew came home from work with a bouquet of red roses, a balloon and a beautiful card.. I wasn't it expecting too, because he gave me a gift the day before.. hehe. Talking about gifts, I got some pretty things.. Thank you Allison, Rita, Andrew and Irlaine :) We went out for dinner and when we came back we had some friends over to eat cake.
