Trip across country - part 3

Day 12: We drove to Kirtland, OH to see more church sites and it was really nice. We got to hear some of the history of the places, went inside a few buildings and enjoyed our moments there. Be able to go to all those different places and hear the testimonies of those pioneers of the church sure makes you have a stronger testimony.

After that we started to drive back to Rita's home. First we stopped at the Columbus, OH Temple.

Then we drove to the Louisville, KY Temple.

Then we went to Allison's in-laws and spent a while with them.

And finally we drove back to Rita's place. We got there late a night, but our trip was awesome and the kids did AMAZING.

Day 13: We spent the day resting at home and we finished packing our stuff to start our trip back home. Allison came back and we were able to spend more time with her and the kids.

Day 14: We organized our car and then drove to our friend's house in Lawrence, KS.

Day 15: We spent the whole day with Jonathan's family and it was so nice. The kids played a lot together, we got to talk and laugh a lot with them.

Day 16: It was Daphne's birthday!!! She turned 5 years old. To start the day, Erin made a brownie for Daphne (she doesn't like to eat cake, so she asked for a brownie instead). We sang happy birthday, she opened presents from Claire and Spencer. We put our stuff back in the car and drove home.

And that was our big trip across country. We spent a lot time driving around, but it was so nice. We were able to see so many different places, people, food and create a lot of new memories.
