Abril em Utah / April in Utah.....

Dias como este é quando você olha pela janela e pensa o que tem de errado com o clima em Utah... após dias com o clima perfeito, você acorda em uma manhã e acha que está de volta para Janeiro.

Days like this are when you look out the window and think what is wrong with the weather in Utah... after days with perfect weather, you wake up in the morning and think you are back in January.

Dia ensolarado / Sunny day

Hoje o dia estava tão bonito, ensolarado e o clima estava perfeito.. dai eu e Daphne fomos ao parque com a Juliana e Emma, depois disso eu, Andrew e Daphne fomos para o Trafalga e lá jogamos mini golf e baseball e andamos de carrinho. Nada melhor que um belo dia de primavera, depois do longo inverno de Utah.

Today the day was so beautiful, sunny and the weather was perfect.. so Daphne and I went to the park with Juliana and Emma, after that Andrew, Daphne and I went to Trafalga and we played mini golf and baseball and rode the go-karts. Nothing is better than a beautiful spring day, after a long winter in Utah.

Daphne starting to crawl

Ela tem feito algumas coisas bem engraçadas essa semana tipo, tirar e colocar as coisas nos lugares; quer colocar a tampa em tudo e jogar os bloquinhos para longe dela. Hoje ela aprendeu que engatinhar é significado de liberdade e por causa disso ela não parou.

Dente nº 3 apareceu hoje.. eu consegui sentir pela manhã, mas ainda não vi muito bem.

She has been doing some funny stuff this week like, taking and putting things in place; she wants to put the lid on everything and throw her blocks away from her. Today she learned that crawling is the meaning of freedom and because of that she hasn't stopped.

Tooth # 3 showed up today.. I felt it but couldn't see it very well.

Engatinhando / Crawling

Depois de meses esperando, insentivando ela e pensando sobre isso, hoje finalmente a Daphne começou a engatinhar.. eu esperei tanto por esse momento que até achava que nunca iria acontecer.. hahaha. Foi assim que tudo aconteceu:
Eu deixei ela com o Andrew no nosso quarto e desci para terminar de fazer algumas coisas para irmos para a capela, e ai o Andrew me chamou, quando perguntei o que tinha acontecido ele me falou que ela tinha engatinhado para pegar um cheerios que estava no chão, eu fiquei super feliz!!! mas agora eu queria ver ela fazendo.. dai peguei mais cheerios e coloquei um pouco longe dela, mas ela não queria ir pegar, dai nós nos escondemos no banheiro e quando olhei ela estava engatinhando.. vocês podem imaginar minha felicidade. Dai fomos para a capela e durante a aula de princípios do evangelho deixamos ela no chão para brincar com as outras crianças e ela ficava engatinhando para todo lugar pegar os brinquedos.
Ela ainda não está 100%, mas é tão bom ver ela aprendendo algo novo.


After months waiting, encouraging her and thinking about it, today Daphne finally started to crawl.. I waited so long for this moment that I thought it would never happen.. hahaha. This is how it happened:

I left her with Andrew in our bedroom and went down stairs to finish doing some stuff to go to church, and then Andrew called me, when I asked what happened he told me that she had crawled to pick up a cheerio that was on the floor, I was so happy!!! but now I wanted to see her do it.. then I grabbed more cheerios and put them away from her, but she didn't want to go pick them up, so we hid in the bathroom and when I looked back she was crawling.. you can imagine how happy I was. Then we went to the chapel and we set her on the floor to play with the other kids during the gospel principles class and she was crawling everywhere to pick up the toys.

She's not 100% yet, but it is so good to see her learning something new.

11 months old

Ela parece tão grande aqui, não como aquele bebezinho que trouxemos para casa do hospital. Apenas mais um mês e ela terá 1 ano, eu ainda não consigo acreditar...

She looks so big here, not like that little baby we brought home from the hospital. Only one more month and she'll be 1 year old, I still can not believe it...
