Chicken coop

Andrew finished a few days ago building the chicken coop. I looks awesome, we just love the way it turned out. Now our chickens have a place to live.

Nice weather

We had a few days with nice weather already, and we're sure enjoying it.

Nós tivemos alguns dias com um clima bem agradável, e nós estamos aproveitando bastante.

Car seat

Yesterday I finished  recovering the baby's car seat. We bought it when I was pregnant with Daphne. Before I got pregnant again, I saw a tutorial on Pinterest showing how to recover a car seat so I decided to do that. A few weeks after I find out about the second pregnancy, I went to the store and bought the fabric, but I wanted something neutral, so I can use either with a boy or a girl.


Ontem eu terminei de recobrir a cadeira do bebê. Nós compramos quando eu estava grávida da Daphne. Antes de eu engravidar novamente, eu vi um tutorial no Pinterest mostrando como cobrir uma cadeirinha e eu decidi fazer isso. Umas semanas depois de eu descobrir a segunda gravidez, eu fui na loja e comprei o tecido, mas eu queria algo neutro, que eu pudesse usar tanto com menino como menina.

First trimester

My first trimester was really good, it was pretty similar to when I was pregnant with Daphne, I didn't have any morning sickness. I was a lot more tired this time around, I think because I was going on my training to work and some days I had to leave home at 5:00 a.m. But in general it was a good first trimester.

Due date change (again)

Today I had another doctors appointment, it was great to hear the baby's heart beat. On my first ultrasound the baby measured 8 weeks and 1 day, so they changed my due date to November 3rd. Every ultrasound after that the baby measured bigger, putting my due date back to October 28th. So today the doctor decided to go back to my original due date. I was joking that yesterday I was 16 weeks and today I'm 17 weeks ;) In 3 weeks I'll have the ultrasound to measure all the baby and check the gender again, I'm excited to see my baby again.

Baby crib bedding

Yesterday we bought the baby crib bedding, when we saw it and we thought is was so cute. It came with a crib skirt, a curtain, blanket, diaper stacker, mobile, and bumper. I hope our baby boy loves it too. Daphne says that he is going to love it.. hehe

Mother's Day

Saturday we went to eat at Boudreaux's Bistro in Payson, I just love their food!!

Sunday we went to church, I got flowers. At home we spent the day together and it was great.


I am so grateful for my beautiful daughter, that fills my life with so much joy and for my baby boy moving around in my belly.
